My Chefs-in-Training

Aidan and Owen have been very enthusiastic about helping in the kitchen lately. I suppose they have always been enthusiastic, but lately they have been actually helpful! We made beef stock and they were in charge of all the veggies. Aidan actually helped me with degreasing too.

No, that's not leftover food in the corner of Owen's mouth. He had a head-first crash with his toy train table a few days ago and has three stitches. Aidan has a shiner from running into a chair. They may look just like Chad, but at times I fear they are cursed with my lack of coordination!

Cooking with Grandma

Last weekend Chad's mom Cindy was generous enough to offer to take the boys for the night so we could celebrate our anniversary. They had a wonderful time!

Crazy Weather!

You wouldn't know it was January unless you were looking at the calendar! The boys have loved getting to play outside in grass the last three days. Today they were begging me to take their jackets off because they were "too sweaty!"

Happy New Year!

Chad went on a fishing trip for the weekend, so the boys and I celebrated the new year early (9pm!) via webcam in NYC. These are some celebratory shots!

Lowry Family Christmas

We had our Lowry family Christmas this past weekend! It was a riot, the highlights being Owen teaching Uncle Frank to play Wii Sports Resort and our cousins and Uncle Ed game of spoons. We had a great time hanging out and eating delicious food, but we missed everyone who couldn't be there!
